Damaris is a native New Yorker who is dedicated to helping community-based organizations develop solutions to realize their strategic goals. ⁠

In her previous tenure, she specialized in grants management and donor services operations, where she facilitated millions of dollars in grants to nonprofits across the U.S. Damaris has a master’s in Urban Policy, Analysis, and Management from the New School and brings over 10 years of experience in nonprofit management and business operations to Red Olive Culture Commons.

Emily Lee Luan

Communications Editor

Emily Lee Luan is a Brooklyn-based poet and teacher. She brings her experience in nonprofit arts administration and copywriting to elevating Red Olive’s online platforms and external communications strategy. She received her MFA in Poetry from Rutgers–Newark and is the author of I Watch the Boughs, which won a Poetry Society of America Chapbook Fellowship.

Sharbreon Plummer

Project Consultant

Dr. Sharbreon Plummer is an artist, educator and strategist born and based in Baton Rouge, LA. She’s most recently an Ohio State grad whose dissertation research centers on Black women’s work and praxis as textile artists. She brings over a decade of arts and culture management experience to the team at Red Olive, and is most excited to craft sustainability for organizations and artists within her community. In addition to working alongside DéLana to support new and pre-existing clients, you can expect to hear from her occasionally through our social media and online platforms.
